Mac Kido was strong at the plate and on the mound in carrying Edgewood to a 2-1 victory over Bloomington North on Saturday.

Kido did his best to jumpstart the offense for Edgewood, reaching base three times.

Edgewood relied on Kido to eat up innings en route to the win. Kido pitched seven innings and allowed no earned runs, five hits and one walk while striking out one.

Jordan McCoy took the loss for Bloomington North. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed two runs.

Edgewood went up for good in the second, scoring two runs on.

Bloomington North managed to score one run in the seventh inning on an RBI single by Grant Druckemiller.
