Game Recap

Shortly into the 3rd quarter, a Cooper Bybee 3 pointer brought Edgewood to within four points, 35 -31, at Bloomington North. Unfortunately, the highlights stopped there for the Mustangs as a flurry of Edgewood turnovers coupled with red-hot Cougar shooting led to a 28 – 3 Bloomington North run to put the game out of reach, ultimately resulting in a 67 – 51 victory for the home team.

Cooper Bybee and Chayton Howard led the Mustangs scoring effort, with 18 and 17 points, respectively, but no other Edgewood player was able to connect for more than 4. Completing the scoring for Edgewood was Joe Kido and Jayce Collier with 4 points each, Tate Balcam and Curtis Cowden with 3 points each, and Cameron Banister with 2 points.

Jayce Collier turned in a strong performance on the glass, pulling down 8 rebounds to lead the Mustangs in that department.
