Edgewood High School
Northview High School
A third quarter in which they only scored 2 points spelled doom for the Edgewood JV team as they lost a close one at Northview by a score of 44 – 41. Despite the Mustangs failure to capitalize on several close-range attempts, missed free throws, and their inability to keep the more aggressive Knights off the offensive glass, Edgewood still had a chance to tie in the closing seconds. Unfortunately, Kyle Rogers’ three point try didn’t go down and the Mustangs came away empty.
Derek Farkas led the way for Edgewood with 15 points, Schuyler Curtis had 7 and Parker Harrington had 6. Rounding out the scoring for the Mustangs was Houston Holmes and Austin Schwartz with 4 points each, Tate Balcam with 3, and Harrison Pittsford with 2.
