Game Recap

Edgewood defeated Brown County 15-2 thanks to a strong start. Edgewood scored on a double by Connor Morton and a double by Ryan Stuffle in the first inning.
Edgewood captured the lead in the first inning. Edgewood scored one run when Connor Morton doubled with one out in the first inning.
Edgewood scored five runs in the fifth inning. Edgewood’s big inning was driven by a walk by Gavin Robinson, a single , and a wild pitch.
Tanner Kolbe earned the win for Edgewood. He threw four innings, surrendering zero runs, two hits, striking out one, and walking one. Joe Kido threw one inning, as two relievers helped Edgewood finish off the victory. Grant Suding took the loss for Brown County. He went three innings, allowing six runs, seven hits, and striking out one.
Edgewood collected 12 hits. Kolbe, Ryan Stuffle, and Morton each collected multiple hits for Edgewood. Morton and Robinson each drove in three runs to lead Edgewood.
Logan Ceekler went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Brown County in hits.
