Jance Hunt signs to play at Franklin

Jance Hunt has signed a letter of intent to play at Franklin College for Coach Alan Hensell.  Jance played for Coach Rosenburgh on the defensive line and at tight end.  Jance is the son of George Hunt and the late Tanja Hays-Hunt.

Turner makes it to State at 106

Cash Turner finished 3rd at the Evansville Semistate this past weekend earning a trip to the State Finals at Indianapolis this Friday and Saturday.  He won his first match by a fall before taking the second by major decision 12-2.  He then lost a tough match in the semi finals 2-0 before bouncing back to take

Zemlyak signs to play VB at Franklin

Alyssa Zemlyak has signed a letter of intent to play volleyball at Franklin College for coach Mary Johnston.  Alyssa is the daughter of Justin and Kara Zemlyak.  She was a 2 time All-Conference selection in the WIC.  She is shown in the picture with her parents and younger sister Alexis.

Archer and Novak advance to Semi-State

Mathew Archer and Reece Novak advanced to the Semi-state with their 2nd and 3rd place finishes respectively at this past Saturdays Regional Wrestling Tournament.  Matthew made it to the championship match before dropping a tough 3-2 decision.  Reece lost in the semi-final bracket but then bounce back with a pin to take 3rd place.

Lane Deckard Regional Champ at 132

Lane Deckard was the Regional Champ at 132 this past Saturday.  Lane has extended his record to 33-7 on the season.  He will compete as a number 1 seed at the Evansville semi-state this Saturday.

Turner Regional Champ at 106

Cash Turner extended his great season this past Saturday with a Regional Championship.  Cash has extended his record to 36-3 on the season.  He will compete as a number 1 seed at the Evansville semi-state this Saturday.
