The Edgewood JV jumped out to a quick 9 – 2 lead and never looked back in a decisive 66 – 39 win at Cloverdale. The Mustangs used crisp ball movement and unselfish play to continually find open shots against the Clovers defense and push their record to 2 -1.
11 players found the scoring column as the Mustangs broke out of the offensive doldrums they had been in to start the season. Kyle Rogers led a balanced attack for Edgewood with 12 points, while Logan Slabaugh scored 10 and Coleman Sater and Cooper Thacker tallied 8 points each. Completing the scoring for the Mustangs was Austin Schwartz with 7, Derek Farkas and Peyton French with 5 each, and Cam Curtis, Sam Kido, and Chase Souder with 2 points apiece.
