Edgewood improved its record to 10 -2 on the season (and 4 – 0 in the WIC-East) with a dominating 77 – 41 win over visiting Brown County. The Mustangs’ defense forced numerous turnovers, many of which were converted into points on the offensive end, and were never seriously challenged.
Trevor Taylor scored 19 points to lead a well-balanced Edgewood attack that saw four players reach double figures . Joining him were Kyle Rogers with 15, Coleman Sater with 13, and Cam Banister with 11. In addition, Houston Holmes scored 6 points, Tate Balcam had 5, Joe Kido scored 4, Logan Slabaugh had 3, and Austin Schwartz added 1 point to complete the scoring for the Mustangs.
Edgewood plays again on Saturday night, when they host South Putnam.
