Edgewood finished its regular season on a high note with a 62 – 41 win at Eastern Greene. The Mustangs led by only a point at halftime, but turned up the intensity and broke the game open in the second half, limiting their hosts to only 2 field goals over the final 16 minutes.
Trevor Taylor led Edgewood with 20 points and 9 rebounds, while Chayton Howard added 18 points. Cam Banister returned to the lineup to score 9 points, and Jace Collier chipped in a season-high 7. In addition, Joe Kido scored 6 points to go with a team-high 7 assists, and Caleb Norris scored 2 points to go along with 8 boards.
With the win, the Mustangs finished the regular season at 19 – 5 and will open play in the Northview Sectional at 6:00 PM on Tuesday night against Brown County.
