Noah Brooks took medalist honors with a 42 to lead Edgewood to a 184-198 boys’ golf victory over visiting South Putnam at Cascades on Wednesday.
The Mustangs also got a 45 from Jacob Hupp and a 48 from Landon Ringler in the victory, as some different faces came to the forefront on an off night for No. 1 Jackson Wendel.
“It’s good to see Noah turning in the right direction,” Edgewood coach Garry Lee said. “Jacob had a Jacob night in that he was up and down, but Landon dropped a few shots he’s been struggling with and didn’t make any huge numbers, so that was good to see.”
The Mustangs return to action tonight at Bedford North Lawrence with Brownstown.
