Edgewood jumped all over North Knox from the opening tip, and rolled over their over-matched hosts 100 – 49. The Mustangs led 31 – 3 after one quarter and 52 – 14 at the half, totally dominating every aspect of the game while improving to 7 – 0 on the season.
Trevor Taylor led four Edgewood players in double figures with 29 points, while Tate Balcam scored a career-high 16, Coleman Sater added 13, and Cam Banister 10. In addition, both Joe Kido and Kyle Rogers scored 8 points, Houston Holmes supplied 7, Derek Farkas 5, and Austin Schwartz 4 points to complete the scoring for the Mustangs.
The Mustangs return to action next Friday evening when they travel to Sullivan, before heading to the Wabash Valley Classic in Terre Haute on the 26th.
