The Edgewood JV sprinted out of the gate to a 16 -2 lead over visiting Orleans, then coasted to a 49 – 36 victory. Over the final 3 quarters, the Mustangs never allowed the lead to get below double figures and were never seriously challenged as they secured their 14th win of the season against only 5 losses.
Henry Doering led Edgewood with 13 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists, while Caden Huttenlocker scored 11 points and had 5 rebounds. In addition, Landon Ringler scored 8 points and pulled down 4 rebounds, and Brayden Robinson and Aiden Georges both scored 6, with Georges also adding 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Finally, Sean Sims had 5 points to complete the scoring for the Mustangs.
Edgewood has a quick turnaround as they host Northview on Tuesday evening.
