The Edgewood JV overcame a slow start to post a 37 – 34 victory at North Putnam. The Mustangs’ defensive pressure limited the host Cougars to 8% shooting (1 for 13) from 3-point range, and they scored just enough down the stretch to secure the win.
Jalen White led Edgewood with 10 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 assists, while Brayden Robinson also contributed 10 points. In addition, Xander Hammonds scored 8 points, Joe West had 5, Nick McCullough had 2 points (to go along with 9 rebounds) and Ashton Moore had 2 points as well.
The JV Mustangs are back in action on Thursday evening when they host Brown County.
