The Edgewood Freshmen started their new year off strongly with a dominant 58 – 25 victory over host Brown County. The Mustangs used their superior size and speed to jump out to a 17 – 3 first quarter lead and were never challenged after that.
Edgewood had a well balanced attack that saw 3 Mustangs reach double figures, led by Jacob Boggs with 14 points and followed closely by Mason Ranard and Nehemiah Yazzie who had 13 and 12 points respectively. In addition, Hayden Cross scored 8 points, Grant Coffey had 6, Ziggy Teran scored 4, and Mack Headdy had 1 point to complete the scoring for Edgewood.
