It was another great night for the Lady Mustangs. They were able to complete a great regular season with a win over Northview and Owen Valley on senior night.

Leading the way for the Mustangs was freshman, Elizabeth Bolander. Elizabeth was able to win the Long Jump, 300 Hurdles, and 4×400 (Bolander, Meyer, Werner, Milah) as well as finishing third in the 100 hurdles. For the long jump and the 300 hurdles she was able to run and jump a personal best in both.

In the 1600 Freshman Annalyssa Crain placed won setting a new school record. Annalyssa ran a 5:06.95 which was almost two seconds better than the previous mark. This was Annalyssa’s second individual record on the season. She had previously broke the 3200 meter record as well. She was also on the 4×800 team that broke the school record early in the season.

In the 100 meter dash, sophomore Kailea Covey was able to place third with a personal best time of 13.58. Sophomore, Alyssa Milah, placed second in the 400 with a time of 1:01.04 with freshman Madie Deckard placing fourth. In the 800 meter run, freshman Olivia Werner ran a 2:26 winning the 800. Junior Kaylee Meyer was able to place second as well.

In the field events, Emma Coffey tied a school record in the Pole Vault with a vault of 9’0″. This placed her second on the night. In the throws, Daphanie Ehrmann placed second in disc with a throw of 93-00 and Paige Lawson placed second in the shot with a throw of 29-10.

Overall it was a good night for the Mustangs. This was a big conference meet, and the girls competed really well. The girls will conclude their regular season next week with the WIC meet on Tuesday night. This meet is at home.
