The Edgewood JV jumped out to a 24 – 3 first quarter lead over Mitchell and coasted to an easy 77 – 41 victory. The win improved the Mustangs’ record to 17 – 5 on the season with one game remaining.
Landon Ringler scored 23 points and Brayden Robinson added a career-high 19 to lead Edgewood. In addition, Sean Sims scored 12 points, Henry Doering had 7, Josh Webb had 6, Aiden Georges scored 5, Caden Huttenlocker scored 4 and Xzander Hammonds had 1 to complete the scoring for the Mustangs.
Edgewood had a large rebounding advantage led by Webb’s 6, while Ringler and Huttenlocker had 5 apiece, and Georges and Doering both grabbed 4.
In other stats, Georges and Doering both dished out 6 assists, while Sims and Robinson each had 4 steals.
The JV will try to end their season with win number 18 when they travel to Eastern Greene on Thursday evening.
