It took a big 4th quarter to overcome a 2 point 3rd quarter for the Edgewood Lady Mustangs to defeat White River Valley 43-35. Taylor Minnick posted her best overall game, leading the Mustangs with 16 points and spear heading a defensive presence on the perimeter. Alle Spear overcame some early misses to finish with 10 points. Chelbie Anderson went 6 for 6 from the free throw line in the 4th quarter to chip in 8 points. Carly Sherfield had 5, including a big three pointer in the closing quarter. Trista Helms saw her first action of the year to contribute 3 points and Kaiden Harrington closed out the scoring with 1 points. Edgewood begins conference play on Friday December 6 as they play host to Cloverdale in the first girl/boy double header of the year.
